Zorro was our resident ram. Zorro was bred by Kathy Maynard at Pulpit Rock Romneys. The fleece of Zorro's sire Anchorage 99-512B won Supreme Champion at the Big E in 2000 and Supreme Champion at Maryland in 2001. Zorro's fleece won first place long black category at Vermont Sheep & Wool Festival in 2003. His daughter Gigi won first place long black in Vermont in 2004. Zorro was the quintessential Romney ram. Very sound, with great length of loin and fine fleece - consistent from front to britch. |

Noir is a perfect
specimen of a Romney Ram. Head held high, great carriage, size, length of loin,
flat top line and outstanding fleece. He was our pick of the litter in 2006. His
fleece is outstanding with great luster, consistent front to britch and very fine
- a hand-spinner's dream. He has a mellow temperament. Noir settles every ewe
he is exposed to! . Noir's enormous soft fleece won 5th place colored ram at the
Rhinebeck 2008 ARBA Regional! |

Blake was bred and is owned by Maria Rooney of Silver Creek Lambscapes in Oregon. We purchased Blake's semen for artificial insemination in 2004 and have four exceptional breeding ewes from this breeding. We plan to use his seaman again in 2009. Blake was AI sired by World Congress Colour Romney Champion "Monuina 109-94". Silver Creek Lambscapes is renowned for true to type Romneys with outstanding fleece. |
Thunder: | Thunder is a spectacular ram bred by Andrew Freshwater in Victoria Australia. When his semen has been used elsewhere he has produced very black points, length of loin, productivity and fleece with fantastic luster. We do not have a photo of Thunder but he has been described as "Stunning". Photo is the front of a flock of 5,200 (this is not a typo!) ewes the breeder calls "Thunder's Daughters". |
Bathsheba
is a medium size ewe with great stature. She holds her head |
Isabella ARBA#126794BB |
Isabella is an AI ewe out of Bathseba and Blake. Absolutely superb genetics. She is definitely a double recessive colored ewe. She has the tell tale white tear drops. Her fleece is huge with great luster and very well-defined crimp. |
Ivy ARBA#126794BB |
Ivy is an AI ewe out of our breeding with Blake (see photo in ram section). She has produced gorgeous black twin lambs twice in a row out of our ram Noir. Talk about an easy lamber - she had her twins in between lambing checks out on pasture and was nursing them we arrived! She has that Blake carriage and body type - great length of loin and flat top line. And her fleece is fine and a joy to spin. Ivy's dam Ebony was a triplet! Ivy is heavily black factored. |

Isadora has turned into a magnificent ewe. Although Saddleback lineage is becoming more distant in her pedigree it is visible in her body type. Her fleece is spectacular - very soft and lustrous. And she has the ultimate Romney temperament - so very very mellow and friendly. |
